Frequently Asked Questions

Can you ship a hot tub or Jacuzzi?

Yes. Hot tubs and portable spas are one of the most common specialty items we ship. The hot tub must be drained and dry before pickup. We dispatch a flatbed carrier, and the hot tub is blocked, strapped, and wrapped with moving blankets for protection. Nationwide hot tub shipping starts around $300–$800 depending on size and distance.

Do you transport waterslides and pool equipment?

Yes. Residential waterslides, above-ground pools, and large pool/spa equipment travel on flatbed trailers. Commercial waterslides for water parks require specialized lowboy or modular transport — we handle those on a custom quote basis.

Can you ship hay bales?

Yes. Round bales and square bales of hay are transported on flatbed trailers. We handle both individual loads and large agricultural hauls. Agricultural freight including fencing, seed, and farm supplies is also welcome.

How do I ship a playground or swing set?

Large swing sets and play structures are typically disassembled and shipped as flatbed freight. We recommend photographing and labeling all components. Residential structures under 500 lbs ship similarly to furniture freight. Commercial playground equipment is quoted as oversize freight.

Can you transport a generator or compressor?

Yes. Industrial generators, air compressors, and manufacturing equipment are handled as flatbed or lowboy freight depending on size and weight. Forklift loading is typically required at origin and destination — confirm equipment is available on both ends.

What if my item doesn't fit in a standard box or truck?

That's exactly what specialty freight is for. If it's larger than what UPS or FedEx will accept, doesn't fit in an enclosed moving truck, or needs a flatbed, step-deck, or lowboy — we handle it. Call us at (216) 412-4411 and describe what you need to ship. We'll find the right solution.

How much does specialty freight shipping cost?

Specialty freight starts around $250–$500 for smaller items (hot tubs, playground equipment) on short regional hauls. Cross-country moves for large items run $800–$2,500+. Oversize or overweight loads with permits are custom-quoted. We provide firm all-inclusive prices.

Do you ship large sculptures or artwork as freight?

Yes. Large sculptures, outdoor art installations, and oversize framed art travel as specialty freight — typically crated or blanket-wrapped on a flatbed. For extremely high-value pieces, enclosed crate transport with white-glove handling is available.

How Specialty Freight Shipping Works

Five steps from quote to delivery. Hot tubs, generators, sculptures, playgrounds — anything that won't fit a standard carrier.

1

Get a Free Instant Quote

Tell us your pickup ZIP, delivery ZIP, and vehicle (year, make, model, condition). You get a real price in seconds — no spam, no deposit, no pressure.

2

Carrier Matching from Our Vetted Network

We dispatch your shipment to a carrier in our vetted network — every one with active FMCSA authority, current insurance, and a documented track record. You see the carrier's info before booking is final.

3

Pickup Scheduling & Bill of Lading

We coordinate a pickup window with you and the driver. At pickup, the driver completes a Bill of Lading with photo documentation of the vehicle's exact condition — protecting both sides.

4

Door-to-Door Transport with Tracking

Your vehicle moves directly to its destination — no terminal stops. GPS tracking and direct contact with the driver throughout transit, with progress updates along the route.

5

Delivery & Joint Inspection

The driver calls 1–2 hours before arrival. You and the driver inspect the vehicle together against the original Bill of Lading photos, sign off, and you take the keys. Payment is due at delivery.
