Why We Use a Broker Model

Uwon Carriers LLC is a licensed auto transport broker — not a direct carrier. This distinction is important and it's a major advantage for you as a customer.

As a broker, we maintain relationships with hundreds of individual carriers across the country. When you book a shipment, our dispatch team instantly searches our entire carrier network for the best available carrier on your specific route. This means:

  • You get competitive carrier pricing because we work with hundreds of options — not just one company's trucks
  • Your vehicle is matched to a carrier who actively runs your specific route, meaning faster pickup and more reliable service
  • If a carrier has availability issues or problems, we can immediately reassign to another vetted carrier
  • You deal with one team (us) for everything — not multiple carriers with different communication styles
  • Our leverage as a high-volume broker means we can negotiate rates individual customers cannot

Our 5-Point Carrier Vetting Process

1

FMCSA Authority Verification

Every carrier must hold an active Motor Carrier (MC) number registered with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. We verify this through the FMCSA's SaferSys database before any carrier is added to our network.

2

DOT Safety Rating Check

We review each carrier's DOT safety rating and inspection history. Carriers with unsatisfactory ratings, recent out-of-service orders, or high violation rates are not admitted to the Uwon Carriers network.

3

Active Insurance Certificate

Every carrier must provide a current Certificate of Insurance showing minimum $100,000 cargo insurance. Our team verifies the certificate is current, not expired, and names Uwon Carriers LLC as a certificate holder.

4

Equipment Inspection Standards

Carriers must operate properly maintained, roadworthy trailers — open multi-car trailers or enclosed transporters as applicable. Carriers with documented equipment violations are not dispatched.

5

Performance Monitoring

We track every carrier's delivery performance, customer ratings, and damage incident history. Carriers with repeated complaints or damage claims are removed from our active network.

What Carriers in Our Network Provide

Bill of Lading

A legally binding condition report completed at pickup and delivery, documenting every detail of your vehicle's pre-transport state.

Cargo Insurance

Minimum $100,000 coverage per load. If damage occurs during transport, it is covered by the carrier's cargo insurance policy.

GPS Tracking

All carriers use GPS-enabled equipment, allowing Uwon Carriers to track your vehicle's location in real time throughout transit.

Professional Drivers

All drivers hold valid CDL licenses with appropriate endorsements for vehicle transport trailers.
